A Warm Welcome to Tic Tocs Nursery, Exeter
Tic Tocs Nursery, located on Haldon Road in the heart of Exeter, is a small, welcoming setting where every child is truly known and cared for. We are proud of our inclusive, multicultural community, where families from all over the world come together and every child feels a strong sense of belonging. Our CHRICK values (Confident, Happy, Respectful, Independent, Curious, and Kind) are woven through everyday life, gently guiding children as they learn and grow.
Across our three inviting rooms and outdoor garden, children are encouraged to explore, create, and follow their natural curiosity through play. Supported by our caring and dedicated team, they grow in confidence, independence, and happiness from 3 months to 5 years. Open Monday to Friday, 7:45am–6pm, Tic Tocs is a warm and nurturing place where children can feel safe, settled, and ready to flourish.

Welcome to Tic Tocs Nursery, a vibrant and multicultural setting, with Arabic speaking nursery staff where every child is celebrated. Learning & Care
At Tic Tocs Nursery in Exeter, our own CHRICK values (Confident, Happy, Respectful, Independent, Curious, and Kind) sit at the heart of everything we do, shaping our environments, activities, and daily routines. From their very first days, children follow individual home routines and enjoy sensory books, musical instruments, and loose parts play that help build bonds and lay the foundations for their Tic Tocs journey. As they grow, children develop communication skills, build friendships, and explore big emotions through story sacks, singing, role play, and interactive activities. They begin to make choices, express opinions, and take part in adult-led learning, recognising names, shapes, and numbers while enjoying cooking, calm-down time, and storytelling.
Our recently revamped outdoor spaces, featuring sandpits, mud kitchens, climbing frames, bikes, sensory play, and planting areas, spark curiosity and creativity, while trips around Exeter and beyond, from museums and libraries to parks and splash parks, broaden learning experiences. Extra activities, such as Spanish lessons, bring even more fun and variety. At Tic Tocs, learning is active, imaginative, and inclusive, helping every child thrive, explore, and grow with confidence and curiosity.
A Typical Day
At Tic Tocs Nursery, each day unfolds with curiosity, play, and discovery. Every moment is filled with warmth, care, and reassurance, giving children the freedom to explore, try new things, and develop skills in a happy, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
Age Ranges & Rooms
At Tic Tocs Nursery, our three rooms for babies, toddlers, and pre-school children are warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully resourced to spark curiosity and creativity. Children feel safe, settled, and ready to explore, while our outdoor space offers exciting opportunities for adventure, hands-on discovery, and active play—helping every child grow in confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

Fees & Funding

Meet The Team
The rooms at Adventurers are all led by experienced staff and meets ratio requirements stated by Ofsted. We also employ a nursery cook who provides balanced and nutritious daily meals all cooked from fresh produce. We support our staff in their training and development to enable them to provide quality education and care at Adventurers Nursery.
